Assignment - Inserting Graphics & Symbols

In this assignment, you will be asked to practice some of the skills you learned in the Inserting Graphics and Symbols reading. Please complete the following steps:

1. Create a new Microsoft Word Document
2. Come up with your own slogan for your life (example: "All I do is win.")
3. Assume you want to trademark this slogan. Add the "TM" symbol after your slogan. Make sure it is the symbol for TM. Using symbols is covered in the reading for this assignment.
4. Next, below your slogan, insert a picture that reflects your slogan's message. You can use any of the methods described in the reading (attaching one of your own pictures, or doing an internet search for pictures)
5. Next, insert a text box below the picture. In the text box, type your name.
6. Save the new document as "Your Last Name"
7. Submit the file below

How it is Graded

You will earn the full 15 points if you turn the assignment in by 11:59 PM on the due date, and if your submission contains all of the required components of the assignment. I will take off 5 points for each missing piece of the assignment (the TM symbol after your slogan, the picture, and the text box with your name in it).  I will take off 10% (1.5 points) for each day the assignment is late.
